Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Ever After Jewellery, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. However, we understand that there may be occasions when a return or exchange is necessary. Whether you are located in Australia or internationally, we strive to make the process as seamless and straightforward as possible. Please review our policy below for detailed information on returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges on items purchased within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item is in unused, unworn, and undamaged condition.
  • The item is not engraved or altered in any way.
  • The item is in its original packaging.
  • You provide proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation email or receipt).

How to Return or Exchange (Domestic and International)

  1. Contact Us:

    Use the Contact us form to email us with your order number and the reason for the return or exchange.
  2. Return Shipping:
Once your return is approved, we’ll provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package.
    Please note: The customer is responsible for the cost of the return shipping label. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns, as we cannot be responsible for lost items.
    - Domestic Orders (Australia): You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or damaged.
    - International Orders: International customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  3. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  4. Processing Time:
After we receive your return, please allow 5–7 business days for domestic returns and 5–10 business days for international returns to be processed.

Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.
  • Refund processing may take 5–7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@everafterjewellery.com.au.

Exchanges

  • The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original item, and once the return is accepted, place a new order for the desired item.

Other Information

Made to Order & Custom Items

Made to Order and customised items (such as engraved pieces) are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty or damaged upon receipt.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind:

  • Earrings and any other body piercing jewellery.
  • Intimate or pierced body jewellery due to health and hygiene regulations.


If you receive faulty earrings or body jewellery, please contact us immediately, and we will provide assistance in line with Australian Consumer Law.


Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item is faulty or damaged, we’ll work with you to resolve the issue in line with Australian Consumer Law. If an item is found to be faulty or not as described, you are entitled to:

  • A repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

For international returns, please contact us immediately if the product is faulty or damaged, and we will assist with the return and provide a solution.


European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If you are shipping to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As with other returns, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
